My Ski Vacation in Civetta, Venice
Do you think the Venice region is suitable only for hiking, biking and sun tanning? I also thought so until a friend of mine offered me to go to ski there together with him. At first I simply laughed at him. I have always considered that in the Venice region it is impossible to ski. It appeared that there were 2 ski areas – Trevalli and Civetta. We went to Civetta. He said that that area had excellent long tracks and offered wonderful view. Besides, the choice of accommodation where to stay was really varied and wonderful. We rented a nice ski hut for 2 persons that was very warm and cozy. Besides, it was located very close to a piste, that was very convenient. As I was very bad at skiing, I used the service of a ski instructor. I took ski classes 2 times a day and in the end of our rest there I was able to ski very well. One more thing that I noticed in Civetta was children. There were many little kids there. as I was told later, Civetta was called the land of “bambini”. Many people come there to ski together with their children as there is a nice childcare centre there. Besides, the mountain air is very useful for health. To cut a long story short, I want to say that I liked my vacation there very much. And the next time we go on holidays to Venice region, I'd like to see Trevalli ski region there.
My Holidays
Travelling is one of most fascinating things in the world. We can choose any place on the planet and go there on business or for holiday. We can go to the place of our destination by see, by air, by train and so on. As for me, I like to travel by plane, because it is the fastest and most convenient way of getting from one place to another. I travelled by plane to Crimea this summer. I lived in a lovely cottage there that my parents booked for me though the internet. The region itself was really beautiful. There are many beautiful beaches and restaurants. Almost every day I had excursions and visited many historical monuments. The best and the nicest place I have ever seen was the palace of earl Vorontsov. It is really wonderful place; it was built in the 19 century by bondmen of the earl. The place reminds me of a castle. In 1945 when Mr. Churchill was there he said "It seems to me that I appeared in old kind England". From three sides the palace is surrounded by mountains and the fourth – by the sea. Also I went to a nice winter garden. Actually I can talk more about this place. But it is better to see it ones then to hear a lot. In any case, I had unreal and unforgettable vacation. And the cottage I stayed at only made my vacation more pleasant and convenient.
